LET'S "BELIEVE" IN PRAYER!

Thoughts and Prayers” won’t make our world perfect, but God still does. GOD still hears our prayers. So people, let's pray!

¹ And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

² Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

³ And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

⁴ And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

⁵ Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

⁶ And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

⁷ And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

⁸ I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

It's very important that we unite in prayer. It's time to BELIEVE in the power of prayer. God is watching and listening.

Let's pray for school administrators and government officials to have the wisdom to find good ways for preventing further violence.

Pray for wisdom, strength and vision for our law enforcement as they make hard decisions in the line of duty.

I was overwhelmed by the many school shootings...the shootings in business places...all these senseless shootings happening all over the place.

This morning when I turned on the news and found yet another shooting ...only this time right here in Knoxville at a high school..leaving one student dead and a KPD (Knoxville Police Dept) injured, I was horrified. This is my little corner of the world. Wow.

Evil is everywhere. Satan is hard at work in every community. We need to PRAY!!

I went to my favorite book in the bible...the book of Ephesians. The Lord led me to Ephesians 3:8-11. People please open your bibles and read this.

⁸ Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;

⁹ And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

¹⁰ To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

¹¹ According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

Ephesians 3:8-11

Our Lord, Jesus Christ, has always wanted and given strength and grace to our churches ( we are the church people) to give support to our community and to unite and show our love for each other and to each other. Now is the time. Let's unite and support our community leaders, the families of those directly and indirectly affected, and it's time to show our strong community spirit. We "can" do something.

In my opinion of course, the most important thing we can ALL do right now is PRAY. PRAY for all the many victims of mass shootings. PRAY for our leaders. PRAY for our police and law enforcement personnel everywhere. PRAY for unity among all of us. PRAY for these shooters to repent and come to the feet of Jesus.

Let's not make this a political issue or discussion. It's time to ask Jesus to intercede for our nation and for His church (Hebrews 7:25) KJV. Let’s BELIEVE!

Pray for faith. Time to "BELIEVE" in the word of GOD. Let's BELIEVE in the power of PRAYER!
