KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Brandon Coffer always knew he was talented in piano playing. When he was 10-years-old and attending Green Magnet Academy, his mom signed him up for lessons.
His craft took off a few years later, when he says he would weasel out of his homework lessons and take to the piano.
Since then he's won plenty of awards from his college days at Carson Newman University. He now plays every Sunday at First Baptist in downtown Knoxville.
"Before worship starts, I typically play a prelude that has the vast majority of volume, soft, climax in the middle and typically ending softer," said Brandon.
He admits it's God's path he's walking.
"He's the one taking care of me and given me this gift and he's going to carry me as long I'm putting forth the effort," he said.
