NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A total of 50 people were arrested at CMA Fest, mostly for public intoxication and underage drinking.
The festival saw a record-breaking attendance at the Xfinity Fan Fair X of 71,000 attendees, but with crowds often comes problems.
Overall, the number of arrests is down this year compared to previous.
One person was arrested for reckless endangerment after flying a drone over the crowd at Nissan Stadium.
Last year, 59 people were arrested at the stadium alone, and this year that number went down to 31.
Also, in 2017, three people were arrested for selling alcohol to minors, and this year, no one was arrested for that.
