Due to recent rainfall and increased humidity levels, the burn ban implemented last week by Sevier County, the Cities of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and the Town of Pittman Center is lifted immediately (Monday, March 17).
With the lifting of the burn ban, recreational burning, including fire pits, campfires, and charcoal grills, is now permitted. For updates on burn permits, please visit www.burnsafetn.org or contact your local fire department.
