NASHVILLE, TN – The 5th annual Cheekwood’s Holiday LIGHTS is set to open every evening Nov. 23 through Jan. 5, excluding Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Tickets are on sale now.

Featuring a one-mile-long path of lights, the carefully planned course offers holiday experiences designed to appeal to all ages.

New this year, Cheekwood will introduce Pinnacles of Light, an outdoor display showcasing 17 custom-made LED trees with programmed lights. The estate and garden will also roll out a new poinsettia wall, antique train display and pet portraits with Santa.

Guests can expect to see returning favorites like live reindeer, s’mores stations, seasonal cocktails and nightly performances from holiday carolers. Families can meet Santa every evening in December leading up to Christmas, as well as on Saturday mornings. Additionally, guests can sign up for various activities including gingerbread classes, ornament painting and greenery workshops.

Cheekwood’s Café 29 will offer nightly dinner service 5-10 p.m., and food trucks will be onsite during peak nights.

Cheekwood’s Holiday LIGHTS will feature timed ticket options to provide a quality guest experience. First arrivals begin at 5 p.m. with later evening arrivals beginning at 7 p.m. Cheekwood is continuing last year’s Late Night Lights offer, where guests arriving after 8:30 p.m. can receive a discounted rate of $15 adult admission and $10 child admission each night.

The installation of Holiday LIGHTS began in August, and the botanical garden and museum continues to transform into a festive wonderland. Decorations will extend from the mansion out into the gardens, setting the grounds aglow with elegant displays, dazzling views and gleaming lights.

Tickets to Holiday LIGHTS can be purchased online at www.cheekwood.org or upon arrival. Military personnel can enjoy a special half-priced discount on Monday evenings during the special Military Monday offer.

Holiday LIGHTS is presented by Jackson National Life Insurance Company, with special thanks for the installation to Outdoor Lighting Perspectives.
