KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Clogging Champions of America showed off their skills in Knoxville this Saturday.

Cloggers from all over America came to Knoxville this week to compete in the Clogging Showdown of Champions. The event, which was held over a two day period on Friday and Saturday, featured over 200 hundred dance teams.

A local clogging group, the Southern Alliance Dance Company, participated. The owner, Paulette Ray, said the activity is "a great form of exercise, and a fun way to meet new friends."

Two teams from Ray's dance company, Infinity and Resistance, placed third in their categories, and their adult team won Amateur adult team of the year.
