Dollywood discounts begin this week for Sevier County residents, employees

SEVIER - Those who work or live in Sevier County can get discounts to Dollywood and Dollywood Splash Country starting Monday.

From June 4 through the 10, anyone who works in Sevier County or lives there, can visit Dollywood Splash Country for just a $5 donation. From June 11 through June 17, you can visit Dollywood for a $5 donation.

To qualify for the promotions, you have to bring a state or federal issued photo I.D. and verification of residence in Sevier County or proof of employment in Sevier County. You can get entry at any Dollywood ticket booth.

The offer is valid for one day only. According to Dollywood's ad, a spouse must present a state or federal issued photo I.D. with the same last name. Children aged three or younger don't need an admission ticket. Anyone 16 or older must present a state or federal issued photo I.D. and verification of residence or employment in Sevier County.

Those aged 13 to 15 must have a state or federal issued ID and be accompanied by someone age 16 or older to enter without a parent or legal guardian. Those 15 and younger without an ID must enter the parks with a parent or guardian.

Admission doesn't include parking, which is $12 for cars and $18 for RVs, nor does it cover games, food, merchandise or separately ticketed attractions.

Proof of residency would be: electric bill, water bill or personal checking account. Computer generated payroll stub or a check dated within the last 30 days will cover proof of employment in Sevier County.
