East Tennessee Media Day
KNOXVILLE – The TBI Public Information Office would like to invite you to bring your cameras and questions to the TBI Media Day event at our Knoxville Field Office on Wednesday, October 30th.
Want to know more about opioids, methamphetamine, and other drug-related issues? This Media Day session will focus entirely on drug trends in our state. We will have a panel of experts available to answer your questions about these issues. The Assistant Director over the TBI Forensic Services Division will also be available to speak about the responsibilities of scientists working in the Drug Chemistry Unit, including their work to distinguish hemp from marijuana.
This is a great opportunity to get photos and video of testing done in our Drug Chemistry Unit as well as one-on-one interviews with Agents and Forensic Scientists for current or future stories.
The Media Day event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude no later than 1:00 p.m. at our Knoxville Field Office located at 1791 Neals Commerce Lane. Light refreshments will be provided.
