KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Basketball fans got a chance to see Tennessee back in action in an Exhibition game against Tusculum at Thompson - Boling Area.

The game was a warm up for the season, but fans acted like it was a regular season game.

"It feels awesome,"
said April Trent, who is a Vol fan.

Basketball is a passion for the Trent family. April Trent says she grew up watching the Vols.

"All my life, 40 years,"
said April.

Now, her kids are growing up to be big basketball fans.

"I've always grown up loving to play ball,"
said Brady Trent, who is April's son.
"I hope to play for UT one day".

The Vols mean so much to the Trents', they drove two hours to see the action. They came to Knoxville with high expectations for the team, ranked 6.

"We've very excited,"
said April.
"We're expecting to be the SEC Champions this year."
