UPDATED April 02, 2020.

Jefferson County Offices will be closed to the public. The offices will be open for business via phone, fax, or internet. We will have a drop box at the Courthouse ADA entrance.

The Courthouse Security Officer will monitor the drop box. County offices will receive documents and will return these to customers via U.S. Postal service. We are working on other procedures to assist our residents and will provide this information on here when available.

This is a joint effort cooperatively with the elected officials of the courthouse and the county clerk. Please note the Kiosk for tag renewal is open 24/7 at the White Pine Police Department. Should anyone have questions you may call the appropriate office during regular business hours.

Several offices are working with temporary procedures at this time, please either call the office or check their area of the website for information.

County Commission Work Session scheduled April 13 and Regular Session April 20 are canceled.

COVID-19 is sweeping the nation and the world. Mayor Mark Potts addresses the coronavirus and how the county is responding in a video for the residents of Jefferson County and all interested!

Due to concerns regarding exposure to the COVID-19 virus the following steps are being implemented for the March 24, 2020, County Commission Meeting at 6:30.
