Kroger recalls ice cream bars, frozen biscuits over listeria concerns

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Kroger has recalled two items sold in Knoxville-area stores because they could be contaminated with Listeria.

The recalls include Kroger Arctic Blasters Ice Cream Bars, both the regular and no sugar added versions. The items have a sell-by date of Jan. 1, 2018 through Dec. 31, 2018. The UPC codes are 11110-57120 and 11110-57885.

Consumers can contact Fieldbrook Foods with any questions about the ice cream bars, 1-800-333-0805 ex. 2270.

The second recall is for a variety of Mary B's frozen biscuits. They all have a plant designation of "M" following the use-by date of anytime before Sept. 23, 2018. Those biscuits include:

  • Buttermilk Value Pack Biscuits, UPC 20593-00020;
  • Southern Made Value Pack Biscuits, UPC 20593-00021;
  • Buttermilk Tea Biscuits, UPC 20593-00022;
  • Butter Taste Value Pack Biscuits, UPC 20593-00023;
  • and Thins Buttermilk Biscuits, UPC 20593-00028.
