Lichterman Nature Center Offering Guided Tour Walks

MEMPHIS, TN – What better way to start your day than with a leisurely morning stroll around Mertie’s Lake and through the forest at Lichterman Nature Center. The Center invites visitors to amble through nature and meet their wilder neighbors along the way on guided tour walks with a Lichterman Nature Center naturalist 9:15 a.m. Wednesday and Saturday mornings now through Aug. 29. Check-in is 9 a.m. at the Visitor Center.

Cost of the tours are $10 for adults and $8 for youths. Members receive a $1 discount on adult and youth tickets. Each tour group will include from five to a maximum of 10 participants.

Tours will take place rain or shine, and are approximately 45 minutes long. Walks conclude with a live animal ambassador visit.

Pre-registration is required by 3 p.m. the day before the walk.
