Police investigating death of man who fell from Market Square garage Friday

Police are investigating the death of a man who fell from the sixth floor of the Market Square Parking Garage downtown Friday morning.

The man, whom police were not able to immediately identify, was found on the Walnut Street side of the garage around 11 a.m. Friday, said Knoxville Police Department spokesman Darrell DeBusk.

DeBusk said he was a white male between 30 and 40 years old.

Foul play is not suspected. Suicide has not been ruled out, according to DeBusk.
