Smoky Mountain Traditions Come Together at the Greenbrier Mountain Festival

PITTMAN CENTER, TN – The first annual Greenbrier Mountain Festival will kick off 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at Hills Creek Baptist Church.

Social distancing is recommended. Safety precautions have been taken for the safety of guests by state and county mayor mandates.

The festival will emphasize a step back in time to the rich history and culture of the Smoky Mountains community of Pittman Center. Mountain crafts, Bluegrass Gospel music, scrumptious homemade food, kids activities, engines, and more will be highlights.

The Greenbrier Mountain Festival will feature:


  • Kids Camp:

    lots of fun for kids and adults with many games, a bounce house, slide and activities.

  • Spring House:

    Live entertainment throughout the day featuring some of the best local Bluegrass Gospel bands that genuinely represent the sounds of mountain heritage.

  • Crafters Corner:

    Family-owned local businesses creating unique arts and crafts with homemade products including handmade crafts from woodworkers, blacksmithing and more.

  • Garden of Feedin’:

    Individuals in the community present homemade traditional food and goodies

The Greenbrier Mountain Festival is free admission.
