JONESBOROUGH, TN – The Town of Jonesborough is gearing up for the fall season and has a few events planned to get in the not-so-spooky spirit.

The Washington County Jonesborough Library will begin their virtual trick-or-treating event “Ghoulish Goodies” starting Sept. 30 through Oct. 28. For the event, Downtown businesses will display secret codes in their windows and change them out every Wednesday. Each code will be worth a specific prize, ranging from handfuls of candy, full-sized candy bars, digital raffle tickets for giveaways, and more. To collect the codes, visit www.wclibrarytn.beanstack.org. You can also download the Beanstack app for both iOS and Android phones. Once registered, start collecting the codes throughout the month of October. The Library will put together a personalized trick-or-treat bag for each participant based on the codes collected. This event is free for all ages. For more information, please contact Allen McCumber at amccumber@wclibrarytn.org.
