UT Launches Countdown to Kickoff Live Series to Gear Up for Game Day
This fall, Vol fans across the country can unite for a new pregame experience organized by the University of Tennessee, Knoxville’s Office of Alumni Affairs. Starting Friday, September 25, at 12:30 p.m. EDT, former Vol football player and UT alumnus Jayson Swain will host the first Countdown to Kickoff live show in the series.
Featuring coach interviews, in-depth pregame analysis, interviews with former players, updates from Chancellor Donde Plowman, recipe demonstrations, and more, the series will give alumni and fans a new way to gear up for game day.
“The Countdown to Kickoff events will allow us to bring together more alumni and fans than a typical game day on campus,” said Chip Bryant, vice chancellor for advancement. “We look forward to spreading Big Orange excitement in a new digital format.”
Countdown to Kickoff will be streamed live at 12:30 p.m. EDT before each game on the UT Knoxville Alumni Facebook page and YouTube channel as well as the Tennessee Athletics Facebook page and YouTube channel.
