KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A woman was arrested after telling deputies she wanted to burn down a mobile home with two people still inside. 39-year-old Sarah Bowling was arrested and faces aggravated arson and attempted first degree murder charges.

Knox County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to an arson call Oct. 11 on Diamond View Way in Knoxville.

Deputies met with the victim, who said she was home with her three-year-old daughter and her father's fiance, Sarah Bowling.

The victim told deputies she went to take a shower, and when she got out, the bed in her father's room was on fire.

The victim said Bowling told her she could not put the fire out due to the amount of smoke. She said she grabbed her daughter and got out of the house.

Deputies asked Bowling how the fire started. She told deputies she was smoking marijuana, and when her marijuana baggie was empty, she placed it on the bed and lit it on fire. According to the arrest report,

"she said she wanted to burn the trailer down because she could and she wanted to burn the trailer down with (Victim 1 and Victim 2) inside of the trailer."

Bowling faces two first degree attempted murder charges and one charge of aggravated arson. Her bond is set at $250,000 pending a Nov. 19 court date.
