1907 Brewing Company announces official ribbon cutting
MORRISTOWN, TN – 1907 Brewing Company invites family, friends, community partners, and new visitors to their official ribbon cutting ceremony, hosted by the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce, on Friday, April 16th at 2:30PM at their venue located at 103 West Main Street in downtown Morristown.
“1907 represents a new anchor tenant of downtown Morristown. They bring a diversity of business that creates the positive downtown evening experience that encourages more potential growth for existing businesses to extend hours and further grow the community, said Morristown Area Chamber President Marshall Ramsey. “We appreciate the jobs and investment in a historic building as redevelopment and reuse are always the preferred route when possible.”
Since the grand opening on March 3rd, 2021, 1907 Brewing Company has sold over 8,800 pints of craft beer and cider from their 24-tap system. Another immediate success was welcoming in all 100 Main Street Mug Club members during the first day of sales, just three days after opening.
“The reception from the community has been amazing. We are grateful beyond words for the support and encouragement thus far and hope to continue to provide a venue that everyone looks forward to visiting,” commented General Manager Haley Fugate.
1907 has also already hosted events with local partners and vendors such as “Steal-A-Pint Night” with Hi-Wire Brewing Company and “Sip & Stretch” with AmyLea Yoga & Wellness from Jefferson County.
“We are really working hard to secure new events as well as establish a solid rotation of key events so there is always something exciting happening,” said Fugate. “Providing live entertainment is a top-priority moving forward.”
Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, 1907 Brewing Company will be open for business. Lobster Dogs food truck will begin serving in Peavine Alley at 4PM.
