CHATTANOOGA, TN – The much-anticipated 19th annual Chattanooga Oktoberfest® celebration takes place 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oct. 12 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 13 at the First Tennessee Pavilion.
The festival brings the sights, smells and sounds of the age old German tradition for local and regional Chattanooga Market visitors to enjoy. Enjoy German themed foods and live oompah music by the local Wurstbrats band. The chicken-dancing celebration takes place on Carter Street under the Oktoberfest tent. The EPB stage will feature both live music (contemporary) and guest DJ Kev of HITS96.
Chattanooga Oktoberfest® is best known for its festive and family-friendly atmosphere with a German-inspired and uniquely "Chattanoogan" vibe.
Attendees are encouraged to come donned in full Oktoberfest attire and enjoy a polka party where a new couple will be crowned Mr. and Ms. Chattanooga Oktoberfest 2019 by popular vote 6:30 p.m. Oct. 12, hosted by HITS 96's Jason Walker.
A welcoming and festive bier garten at Chattanooga Oktoberfest will host more than 99 local and seasonal brews.
