NASHVILLE, TN – Union Station Hotel Nashville has a long history of love: the iconic circa 1900 downtown building that served as the city’s bustling train station until the late 1970s hosted countless weddings in front of the terminal’s large limestone fireplace as lovers hosted hasty ceremonies—from secret elopements to young soldiers shipping off to war—before a train’s departure. Even in the building’s second life as a hotel, Union Station’s grand lobby continues to serve as a beloved backdrop for weddings.

To celebrate 120 years of love this Valentine’s Day, Union Station Hotel offers an evening of special events:

15-Minute Wedding & Vow Renewal Ceremonies at Union Station Hotel

Union Station Hotel offers the chance for guests to participate in 15-minute wedding, vow renewal and commitment ceremonies 4-6 p.m. Feb. 14. Licensed officiant Libby Lovejoy of Lovejoy Weddings will perform each secular ceremony in front of the original limestone fireplace in the hotel’s grand lobby. Friends and family members are also invited to attend and enjoy live music, as well as food and drinks at Carter’s, afterward. The ceremony fee per couple is $120. Reservations are required and can be booked by emailing Trevor Bondarchuk at the address here.

Complimentary valet parking is included in the ceremony fee. Valet parking is limited availability, and self-parking is also available behind the hotel on the south side of the property.

Riffs On The Rails With Special Guest Chance McCoy

Riffs on the Rails, Union Station Hotel’s free music series in the lobby, hosts special guest Chance McCoy, GRAMMY Award-winning musician and former guitarist for Old Crow Medicine Show, performing 6-8 p.m. Feb. 14. Riffs on the Rails is free and open to the public.

Valet parking is $18 or complimentary with the purchase of a beverage or food item from Carter’s. Valet parking is limited availability, and self-parking is also available behind the hotel on the south side of the property.

Valentine’s Day Dinner at Carter’s

Enjoy a three-course dinner from Executive Chef Jim O’Connor 5 p.m. to close Feb. 14 at Union Station Hotel’s lobby restaurant, Carter’s, this Valentine’s Day. The cost of dinner for two (including a champagne toast) is $100. Make reservations.
