The first Knoxville Family Comedy Night benefiting FOCUS Ministries of East Tennessee will be held on February 24, 2018, at First Baptist Concord located in Farragut, starting at 7 p.m.

The evening will feature standup comedian and Knoxville-raised musician Jonnie W. Jonnie travels the country performing for all audiences and all ages. His clever wit and down-to-earth humor have been entertaining businesses and churches, conference attendees and small groups alike.

The Knoxville Family Comedy Night will benefit FOCUS Ministries. FOCUS Ministries is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that has been serving Knoxville and East Tennessee for nearly two decades by helping the incarcerated find a new beginning through faith and like-skills mentoring, residential housing, family restoration, and workforce reengagement.

FOCUS Ministries works both behind and beyond the walls of prison and jails to reconcile families and make Knoxville and surrounding communities safer, better places to live.

Doors will open for the event at 6:15 PM and the interactive night of comedy will last from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A good-will donation will be collected during the evening— of which 100 percent will be used to fund the Returning Hearts Celebration.

This program allows for fathers imprisoned at Morgan County Correctional to have a carnival-like, fun-day experience with their children on the prison yard during the second weekend of June. The heart of this moment is for fathers to reconcile and reconnect with their children.

Tickets are now on sale at www.focustn.org/events. Individual tickets are $15 and group tickets (15 or more) are available by request at events@focustn.org. For more information about FOCUS Ministries or the Knoxville Family Comedy Night, please call 865.694.3837.
