Gatlinburg Community Police Programs holding Easter Egg Hunt on April 8



GATLINBURG, Tenn.—An annual Easter weekend tradition in Gatlinburg is scheduled for Saturday, April 8.

Gatlinburg Community Police Programs (GCOPP) will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt at Mynatt Park, with festivities beginning at noon. Hot dogs and refreshments will be served to everyone in attendance beginning at 12 p.m. The Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., with start times for age groups staggered throughout the hour. The Easter Bunny is also scheduled to make an appearance to greet children at the event.

Children between the ages of 1 and 12 are eligible to participate in the egg hunt and prizes will be given to those with the most eggs in each age group. All children participating in the event need to be sure to bring their Easter basket.
