KCSO searches for robbery suspect

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knox County Sheriff's Office is searching for the man who robbed a business in West Knox County on Saturday night.

According to the initial investigation, a man entered Ian's Food Mart on Oak Ridge Highway at around 9:45 p.m. on December 2.

The man allegedly showed a handgun, grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and ran from the store.

Deputies described the suspect as a male, approximately 5'6''-5'9'' and 160-180 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans and a dark shirt at the time of the robbery.
