KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- If you're staying home for Spring Break and are on a budget, there are many things to do all across East Tennessee.

Spring Break started for many families on Friday, and businesses are helping families stay busy.

Local 8 News searched for deals that families could find for under $100. One of the many businesses included Quaker Steak and Lube in Sevierville. This location has offered up a dinner and movie package thanks to its close proximity to the Governors Crossing Movie Theater.

For just $30, two people can get a meal and two movie tickets. All in all, a family could buy children's tickets at the theater and get a dinner and movie for $60.

"If you have a family of four there is no better place to go than Quaker Steak and Lube, it's been decades since you could take the family to dinner and a movie for just 60 bucks,"
said marketing representative for Quaker Steak and Lube Amy Morton.

If you want to get some exercise but stay indoors, Jump Jam Trampoline Park in West Knoxville might be the place for you. On March 17, Jump Jam will close out Spring Break in a big way with their overnight lock in. It begins at midnight and lasts until 6:00 a.m. on March 17. Tickets are $40. Manager Billy Carey said visitors can also download the Jump Jam app and get one free visit.

"Yeah spring break is definitely busy here at Jump Jam, we get a whole bunch of customers which is good to get more people to play with, bring some good energy in here. If you want, you can download our app and you'll get a free jump when you come in,"
Carey said.

Zoo Knoxville is also catering to local Spring Break families. Starting Monday, March 12, each ticket sold will have a $2 discount. A family of four could visit the zoo for a day for just over $60. There is also a brand new habitat to check out. The Gibbon Trails and Langur Landing is a $6 million multi-acre habitat for white-handed gibbons and silvered leaf langurs. The zoo also has scheduled Bird Sessions.
