Maryville couple featured on HGTV show 'House Hunters'

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) - A Maryville house flipper and his wife were featured on an HGTV show Wednesday night.

Local realtor Lane Shuler and his wife Hannah were featured on an episode of "House Hunters." They were searching for a house with rental potential but weren't on the same page when it came to renovation.

Lane Shuler preferred an older place with character while Hannah Shuler wanted a move-in ready ranch.

"It was a fun experience and I think, more than anything, it taught us to be grateful for what you have. Even though this wasn't our dream home and didn't check all of our boxes, it was great and it was minimalist. It was sort of what we wanted and we're extremely grateful for what we have,"

said Lane Shuler.
