TRAFFIC ADVISORY UPDATE-Bridge surface repair work rescheduled

Due to ongoing and forecasted wet weather this week, the planned bridge surface repairs on Collier Drive and Highway 66 are being rescheduled as follows:

Collier Drive bridge near intersection with Parkway:

November 4 12:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m.-westbound lanes
November 5 12:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m.-eastbound lanes.

Highway 66 bridge near intersection with Main Street (Fred C. Atchley Memorial Bridge):

o November 6 12:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m.-southbound lanes
o November 7 12:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m.-northbound lanes.

The work will be performed overnight from 12:00 a.m.-8:00 a.m. The work is weather dependent and will be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather.

Lane closures will be necessary, however traffic will be maintained. Motorists should remain alert for changing traffic patterns, equipment, and workers in the area.
