Knoxville, TN, October 19, 2017– The Bob Thomas for Mayor campaign will “caravan” to East Knox county next Saturday to meet with voters ahead of the 2018 election. The event will begin at 8:30 AM at Shoney’s on Rutledge Pike and conclude around 1:00 PM at Cardin’s Drive In on Asheville Highway.

“We’ve been all over Knox County for over a year and I never get tired of hearing what’s on the mind of the Knox County voters. This “caravan” will enable all of our support team and volunteers to join me in hearing the issues we face as a county government”, Commissioner Thomas stated.

A full itinerary will be provided to media members next week; however, stops are currently scheduled for the above-mentioned locations as well as the Marathon Food Mart on Rutledge Pike and the Abernathy Senior Center on Mascot Road. All media members are invited to attend for all or a portion of the caravan.

“Our campaign efforts kicked off well over a year ago and the input I’ve gathered from all corners of Knox County has been incredibly valuable and frequently eye opening” said Commissioner Thomas, “I love hearing what the voters have to say.”

The “Bob Thomas for Knox County Mayor” campaign will continue with additional caravan type stops throughout the fall and winter months.
